"I came from Porto to see it, but it's not worth it.
⚠️ There aren't enough parking spaces.
⚠️ The hiking routes in the forest are very poor, with no information signs.
⚠️ There's only one cafe, and they don't accept credit cards.
⚠️There aren't enough WC in the entire parking area.
⚠️ The entrance fee by car is €1.50 (though I don't think there's any control after 6:00 PM).
⚠️ There are no extra for the hiking routes in the forest around Porto."

Serkan Kilic

"We were staying at a campsite nearby for a few days and did some cycling and walking in the national park.

We really could have done with more time to explore more thoroughly. I haven't done a lot of climbing by bike recently, but didn't have much option here.

Old villages - the member of staff at our campsite said it is a lifestyle that hasn't changed in 300 years. Cows with big horns wandering about on the road. The occasional dog wandering as well.

Some photos, but they don't do it justice."

James West

"Beautiful area with Stunning views and good roads. Spent the day driving around, stopping at viewpoints, waterfalls and areas for swimming. Would love to come back for hiking."
