What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors generally enjoy the wine tasting experience and the educational aspect provided by knowledgeable staff. However, a significant concern is the inconsistent opening hours and unreliability of contact information, leading to disappointing visits for some. The variety and quality of wines are appreciated, though some wish for more tasting options.
"I’ve been several times from July through October and the gates are always chained shut. The phone number doesn’t work either even when you try to connect as a contributor. I can only assume it has permanently closed. Too bad."
Wesley English
"We really like the wine tasting.
When we visited they had 8 wines available for tasting. 1 rose, 3 whites and 4 reds all from Dão region. The prices per 50ml varies from 1.25 euro to 2 euros.
Our guide Izabel explained every wines and show us a video about the region. We really enjoyed the explanations and the overall experience in general.
The only thing that would need improvement would be to offer more than 8 bottles for tasting as I am sure there are many more flavors to discover."
Lina Huynh
"Don’t waste your time coming here. I tried three times They don’t honour the opening times. A phone number is on the door when it’s closed but no one answers or calls back"
