"We went twice while we were staying at Club Cala. It's a free attraction. It's very educational a few of the informational plaques could use replacing but I mean it's a swamp area near the cost so I'm sure it has withstood a lot of weather before we visited. I few of the planks on the board walk could use replacing but over all its a very interesting and enchanting experience. Others have mentioned bugs however both time we went we didn't have any issue. The pterocarpus trees are magnificent, additionally the flora and fauna there are very active. Sometimes you need to stay still and quiet for the critters to start going about their business. If you're into conservation, interesting landscapes, plants, animals this is defintely a place I would reccomend you go to."

"Nature wise, this was a neat short visit and the pterocarpus trees are pretty cool. However, the rickety elevated boardwalk is in a state of disrepair and should be completely closed off from access. It is incredibly slippery, but more concerning is many weak spots in the planks - someone is going to send a foot straight through soon. If you do go, stick to the concrete pathway, that short walk was fine and safe."

"A perfect place to see the beautiful kapok trees. So peaceful and utterly gorgeous. Very family friendly walks. Lots of varied wildlife too. We got to see an iquana that was about 3 feet long from tail to head. Highly recommend bringing kids here. If you desire a quiet place to walk in nature, this is it! Also has golfcart parking."
