Very happy to have came here! With no charge (but donations accepted), me and husband enjoyed our great tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and very well spoken and made the tour well worth the trip. Asked questions about us and very charismatic. Would definitely go again if/when I come back with family."

"This gem of a museum is packed with interesting instruments and exhibits, but the best part is the docent. We left with a more complete understanding of the Puerto Rican music influences and heritage than of any American music genre! Fascinating and comprehensive. Our family (a music teacher, teen musician, and avid listener) loved this museum. Good for middle school and up. Maybe skip for younger kids as the museum is not air conditioned and the tour is about an hour. Anyone else, consider it a must see in Ponce! Also the building itself is quite beautiful."

"Anibal is the best host: curator historian. Museo de la Música is a great space to learn about all the influences of the puertorrican music. A must if you visit Ponce, even better that is open Saturdays and Sundays. Structure needs a lot of restoration, something that the municipality should take care of. Where are the asambleístas and legisladores??"
