What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the convenience and accessibility of Escambrón Marine Park, especially for those without a car. The guided tours are highly praised for their knowledgeable staff who blend marine life education with local history. While it's a top spot for beginners, experienced divers might find it a bit small.
"We had a great tour of the Escambron marine park with Scuba Dogs! Small group, 3 experienced divers. Manolo was very knowledgeable and passionate about local marine life, he showed us most of the fish we were going to see, talked about their habits and life, and went trough the diving equipment and signs quite thoroughly. Shallow dive, pretty strong current, the water was not very clear due to the wind and tide, which made the dive a bit challenging. Manolo took the time to show us around, many fish and turtles, some small caves and underwater features, he showed us how to cope with the current and tight spaces. I found the marin life to be more human friendly, you could get pretty close to them and even engage with them. Which made it a unique experience. 77min and still had a lot of air. The golf is conveniently located in San Juan, would definitely recommend to visitors who don't have a car to get to other parts of the island."

"You get more than just a snorkeling adventure with this group. You’ll also see more than marine life with this tour. As a history buff, it was awesome to see and learn about the history of this area they call San Juan. Safety is always first with this guided tour, and the adventure is well balanced with the extensive knowledge these guides have. I’d do it again.👍"

"We had an amazing experience with Scuba Dogs! The whole team was super friendly and welcoming. Our guide, Samuel, was fantastic. He shared so much interesting information about marine life and gave us great tips to make the most of our snorkeling adventure. We saw a variety of colorful fish, some squid, and even a turtle! It was truly unforgettable. Scuba Dogs is perfect for first-time snorkelers or beginners, but the place is pretty small and quickly gets crowded by a lot of visitors. So it can get boring for experienced divers. I'd still recommend it!"
