"Immediately upon walking in the lobby you feel great about your decision. Huge space and smells fantastic. Great location just a few minute walk from old town. The room itself is pretty nice and spacious with a balcony (no chairs). The service / maids do not do a good job at all. The first night we put up do not disturb, but they still went into the room during the day anyway. The second night we requested cleaning service and they half-made the bed, only replaced shower towels, and didn’t clean much of anything. The drain in the shower is terrible and floods the bathtub as you shower. I had to turn off the water multiple times to allow the water to drain so I’m not standing ankle deep the whole time. You expect a lot more from a “5 star” hotel."

"Disappointing Experience – Not Worth the Price
We booked 3 nights at this hotel expecting a relaxing stay, but unfortunately, our experience was far from that. On Saturday night, a private outdoor terrace party took place in the hotel— we were told by reception it would end by 23:30. In reality, it went on until 3am, with music so loud it felt like we were next to a festival stage. It was impossible to sleep. Despite multiple complaints, the hotel staff offered no real solution, and we eventually had to insist on being moved to a room on the other side of the building ourselves.
Even more frustrating — after doing some research, we found that the party had been scheduled in advance, yet hotel staff claimed they weren’t aware of it. That kind of dishonesty is unacceptable.
On top of that, several amenities in our room were broken: the fridge (despite three requests for repair), the trashcan, and the toilet seat — all went unfixed during our stay.
No compensation was offered yet, no sincere apology, and certainly no sense of accountability, despite paying €210 per night.
The only positives were the view and the location — both great. But unfortunately, they don’t make up for the overall lack of professionalism, broken amenities, and sleepless nights. We won’t be returning for our next businesses trips."

I recently stayed at the Grand Hotel in Bucharest and overall had a pleasant experience. The location is excellent — right next to the Old Town, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and major attractions. Public transportation is also very convenient, with a metro station and bus lines just steps away.
The hotel staff was very professional and helpful, providing good service throughout the stay. Breakfast was rich and plentiful, with a wide variety of options to choose from.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but it’s clear that maintenance could be improved. The mini-fridge didn’t work, and the support handle in the bathtub was broken. Still, the room had a safe, and every day we received complimentary water bottles and coffee capsules, which was a nice touch.
The hotel also features a pleasant swimming pool and a well-equipped gym, which added to the overall experience. With some attention to maintenance, this hotel could easily rank even higher."
