I've been in the salt mines there, but sadly didn't get to see this field. There were a couple play grounds though, and I still have a chunk of salt from the mines (it's much smaller now from sweating in the summer).

What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
The Cacica Salt Mine offers a unique underground experience with a cool climate and a distinctive natural scent, which some find beneficial. Highlights include an underground football pitch and a cozy coffee shop, though some visitors feel the mine lacks investment and has an off-putting smell, leading to mixed reviews.
"I personally love this salt mine. It's cold (10 degrees Celsius) and not very busy and they recently opened a lovely coffee shop in the last room. The staff are super nice and if you want you can spend the entire day here chilling or doing sports. I played badminton for hours, drunk several beverages and worked from my phone on some personal projects. They also have WiFi so you are still connected to the outside world even from the depths of the mine.
They can however definitely invest more in this place to make it even more engaging and fun."

"A great experience to go here. Just bring a football if you have a group as there is a football pitch inside the mine. Great place to play football. It does have an unusual smell but you get used to it. I would not recommend using the toilets as they horrible. Hardly ever cleaned."

"Do not recommend going to this place. Wish they would refund the ticket prices.
It's impossible to enjoy with such a strong petrol smell, which the receptionist stated that it is because of them mining. It literally felt dangerous to be inhaling the gas, the smell was still on our clothes after exiting.
Have been to other salt mines, this is by far appalling. Better off looking at the photos online than entering the space."
