"near cool place for sport and entertainment"

"2014 marked the 100th anniversary of the completion of construction works at the Neptun Palace (Baths), one of the emblematic buildings of Timişoara, known for the large public bath and swimming pool that existed here until recently. Today, the building houses office space for companies, a restaurant and around 20 apartments in the “Neptun Block”.
At the time of its inauguration, the Neptun Palace (Baths) was equipped with a modern complex of public baths, a swimming pool and a restaurant, which operated in Timişoara for a long time. The public baths, in particular, were designed to replace the former Turkish baths in the Fabric district and were opened at a time when not many Timişoara residents could boast of having their own bathroom at home."
