"The pedestrian part of the Irtysh River embankment has not been restored everywhere. In some parts, the embankment has an attractive appearance, for example, if you go out to the river bank from the pedestrian street named after Chokan Valikhanov.
Unfortunately, the embankment is not always pleasant to look at, in some places the descent to the river is not well-maintained, there is garbage lying around, some parts of the embankment are passable. You can meet many fishermen, but they themselves say that the fish in the city limits is not suitable for consumption and their fishing is purely gambling.
On the opposite, left bank of the Irtysh River there is a forest area, residential areas are located much further from the bank than on the right bank.
The embankment has bike paths, the only downside is that they are not wide enough, but walkers, skaters and cyclists move along them at the same time, and in both directions.
Along the embankment there are recreation areas: cafes, pizzerias, sports facilities and sports grounds. The impressions are pleasant, because as guests of the city of Omsk we were happy with any locations!!!"
