Visitors consistently praise the Kazan University History Museum for its rich collections and the exceptional knowledge of its guides. The ethnographic exhibits and historical artifacts are highlights, offering a deep dive into both global cultures and the university's significant past. While access can be challenging due to the need for advance booking, the rewarding experience makes the effort worthwhile.
"Today we visited the KFU Ethnographic Museum (we booked in advance), which is a comprehensive repository of the cultural heritage of various peoples of the world. The museum consists of three exhibition halls, each of which displays unique authentic artifacts.
At the entrance to the museum, a temporary exhibition was presented dedicated to children's toys of different peoples of the world. Next comes a hall dedicated to costumes, household items and musical instruments of the peoples of the Volga region. The main large hall contains artifacts from all over the world. Here you can see items from Australia, Africa, China, northern peoples and tribes, which allows you to get a comprehensive idea of cultural diversity. Particular attention is drawn to ancient authentic exhibits, the age of which exceeds 200 years, which emphasizes their historical and cultural value.
The tour was conducted by Arslan, who demonstrated deep knowledge and a professional approach to the presentation of exhibits. His story was not only interesting, but also detailed.
The visit to the museum left a pleasant impression and emphasized the importance of preserving cultural heritage. I recommend everyone interested in ethnography and history to visit this unique museum."

The tour is conducted by professionals in their field, and not only in Russian, but also in several foreign languages."

"An incredible museum and a stunning collection.
However, it is not easy to get in from the street. I searched for contacts online, then called, then joined a group of younger schoolchildren. In general, it took a week to "get in", but it is worth it."
