T-62, T-72, T-80's and BMP-2, BTR-82's preparing for the the parade in Khabarovsk, Russia, 2024.

Ironically enough, the T-62M's might be the "newest" ones. Since they are of the Obr 2022 variant and not original Soviet variant. Where's the T-80BVM and T-72B3 are all "old" variants made in 2010s. There's also a pair of T-72B 1989's around the lone T-72B3.

These steel monsters are coming back to the field.

Yeah, this trio is "spotted" in Khabarovsk every year during Victory Day parade. And it's IS-3, not IS-2. What's next, sensational news on how Tiger tank was spotted in Bovington?

Reviews Summary

Visitors find the Military History Museum Eastern Military District to be a worthwhile experience, particularly for its impressive collection of Soviet-era tanks and rare historical vehicles. However, the strict requirement for pre-booked group visits presents a significant access challenge for individual travelers. Many recommend using translation apps to fully appreciate the exhibits.

"Individual travellers cannot visit this museum. Only group travellers with travel agency can visit there."

Soonbong Kwon

"It's worth a visit. The museum building used to belong to a military unit and later became a museum. The content inside overlaps with the war section of the Far Eastern Museum next door, but there is a signal here while there is not across the street. You can use the mobile phone software to translate the Russian text in real time."

羊不凡

"There is an interesting museum to see, I recommend it."
