Reviews Summary

The challenging roads and unpredictable weather are noted, but the unforgettable adventures and stunning landscapes, from dramatic mountain passes to unique mineral finds, leave a lasting impression.
"Best rest since mid of March till the end of April!"

"The Khibiny Mountains are the perfect place for an 4x4 adventure! We went there in August. The roads can be challenging at times, but that adds to the adventure. Part of the way we drove right along the river. We reached the Ministry of Emergency Situations station and took photos by the signposts—they say they cure "topographic ignorance." You can also stop there to rest, grab a bite to eat, spend the night, and rent subs for a ride around the lakes. Then drive to the "Beautiful" waterfall. This trip will be unforgettable!
If you're heading to the Khibiny Mountains by 4x4, be sure to stop at the Kukisvum Pass—a place between mountain ranges where you can admire the majestic Pachvumchorr, reminiscent of a dragon's spine. A trip along Lake Dlinnoye will show you its water level during the high-water season, and on the shores of Lake Serdtsevidnoye, you can see "pyramids"—mountain peaks reminiscent of the ancient Hyperboreans. Don't miss Mount Kuelporr, a mountain resembling Mount Fuji, with its closed doors leading to an abandoned mine. Fishing enthusiasts can head to the sandy shores of Lakes Shchuchye and Goltsovo, and the Vudyavryok River is a famous filming location for the movie "Kukushka.""
