Reviews Summary
Visitors praise Pyatnitskaya Tower for its unique architecture and the historical insights offered by its museums, particularly the weapons collection. It's frequently highlighted as a key starting point for exploring the Kolomna Kremlin and its walls, offering a rich historical experience.
"The Kremlin's corner tower, standing at the intersection of the Astrakhan and Vladimir highways, is named for its shape. During Soviet times, it was abandoned and housed a kerosene shop. In the late 1980s, the tower was restored. Now, interesting tours of the wall begin here."

"The second fortification structure of the Kolomna Kremlin that appeared before our eyes was the Faceted Tower, one of the 7 surviving towers, and what is interesting is that they are all located on the southern side of the Kremlin. Our guide told us that the tower got its beautiful name because of its unusual engineering and architectural shape - since it is hexagonal on the outside and rectangular on the inside. It was built in 1525-1531. At one time it was a chapel, and a cross could be seen above the tower at the beginning of the 20th century. It is a cultural heritage site of federal significance. Currently, the tower houses the Svyatogor Center of Russian Military Culture and the Museum of Ancient Russian Weapons."

"Probably one of the best preserved towers of the Kolomna Kremlin. It is located on the right if you stand facing the monument to Dmitry Donskoy. The height of the tower reaches almost 25 meters. The tower, like many others, was built between 1525 and 1531."
