Quick walk around Neskuchny Sad (eng. "Not Boring Garden") in #Moscow #Russia The reason for such a name is simple - local count's festive events were so fun compared to his neighbours' lame aristocratic galas, guests would publicly express their amusement! Now its a perfect place for any age and mood - be it doing sports or group activity or just walking down the trees and reading books in a safe...

Reviews Summary

Neskuchny Garden is praised as a beautiful, clean, and relaxing green space in Moscow, offering a peaceful escape with its wooded paths, charming bridges, and friendly squirrels. While a bit removed from the central tourist areas, its natural beauty and recreational opportunities, including picnic spots and playgrounds, make it a worthwhile visit for those seeking tranquility and a connection with nature.

"Well. Living next to it makes it a great place to visit otherwise it is a bit far off the city centre where the tourists usually tend to stay. But if you can be bothered with getting to it you will be amazed as to how clean and tidy it is. The scenery and the water channels are very calming and relaxing. But that's not all. As there in the middle of the forest there are special places set for barbeques where you can enjoy the oldest way of cooking meat, unless you are a vegan in which case you can barbeque potatoes the old Russian way. With the help of walking a little, one can also find some small football fields set with goal posts and all located in the middle of the woods. When you think you have seen it all go look for the nicely kept and groomed flower garden where in the middle of it there is a cage with some rare birds being kept there..."
