"Nice small church"

"What a conversation I had in this church with a granny-parishioner!!! No guide was needed. She told me a lot. And about the fact that here, like most neighboring churches, there was a bakery, a small bread factory. Why did the Soviet government give the buildings of churches for bakeries? As a result, all the walls were sooty and covered with grease. The paintings, of course, disappeared. She also told me how gradually, creakingly, even before the general craze for the church, the decision was made to restore the church and services. And how people brought their last crumbs here, just so that the church would shine with domes again. Which is what happened in 1995."

"Everyone should definitely go! The priest is very kind and pleasant, he will gladly tell the history of the church and give useful advice! He will tell why and which icon you need to approach, what intention you need to put in when you light a candle, etc. An hour of communication with him flew by in an instant! And of course, the view of this church is familiar to fans of the film Zhmurki)"
