"The Institute of Open Education, based at the Siberian State Industrial University, is the worst place to gain knowledge. They'd be better off selling exams and diplomas than imparting knowledge. The fault in this situation lies not with the teaching staff, but with the way the education is organized for those seeking, or trying to obtain, a second degree, as in my case. The Institute of Open Education's management is superfluous; they'd rather be selling clothes and sausages than working at the institute, because they speak to people who come to them in a hushed tone and are reluctant to answer questions. Perhaps the only saving grace at the university is the teaching staff, but some, not all of them, are self-important. Perhaps the last thing: if you're admitted to the correspondence department and are promised that you'll be able to combine work and study, know that it's a lie. From all of the above, I don't recommend going to study at SibSU, especially the correspondence program, and especially at the Institute of Open Education, in any specialty. Don't choose anything there, look for another university, that's what I did."
