What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Novosibirsk-Glavny Railway Station is widely praised for its beautiful architecture and helpful staff, offering a pleasant experience for Trans-Siberian travelers. While some cultural performances are noted, the station's clean ambiance and convenient amenities make it a solid transit point. Occasional feedback mentions less tasty welcome bread, but overall, it's seen as a visually appealing and functional hub.
"A really lovely railway station with some interesting features internally. As usual on this Trans Siberian Trip we found the railway station staff very helpful and amenities insider are very nice."

"Beautiful station and welcome dance
Tsar's gold train organised a welcome singing and dancing at the station, which was nice. But nobody wanted to buy their CDs of course. They took some passengers to dance with them. They gave us welcome a huge piece of bread which you can pull out a bit and was really hard and not tasty.
Anyway the station is beautiful like most Russian stations, the light green colours are sharp and there are pieces of sculptures around. There are some train exhibitions there but we did not wait around to see it."
