What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary

The retro buffet and foyer art exhibitions add unique charm. However, some find the seating to be uncomfortably cramped for larger individuals, and audience behavior can occasionally detract from the experience.
"It is the must go place in Oryol city and there is a park nearby."

"Going to the theatre is wonderful. You have to arrive 30 minutes early. There are metal detectors at the entrance, but they didn't work on me. The cloakroom looks interesting after renovation. There is no hot water in the men's room, but there was liquid soap. The buffet is interesting. It was left somewhere in 1989. Terrible sandwiches, but the price of 40 rubles is quite affordable. Sandwiches with red fish are actively sold out. Delicious dry white wine at 90 rubles per 100 g, and only Dagestan cognac at 180 rubles per 100 g. Alpen Gold chocolate ran out on us, and we were second. The audience is just awful. With a height of 189 cm and a weight of 130 kg, it is impossible to sit. Your knees are touching, the width of the seats is very small. The play "Prima Donna" is good, but it has an age limit of +16, and there was at least one much younger child in the audience. So, there is no comfort for big people, unless they sit in the 1st row, or 14th amphitheater with 1-6 seats."

"We saw the play "Love in the Time of Cholera," based on Marquez's novel. It was a delight! It was overwhelming!
The small stage was cozy, and the staff was very pleasant and attentive. Theater is truly a place of another world, where you feel close to true art."
