Reviews Summary

Lenin Square is a central and symbolic hub in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, praised for its picturesque embankment views of the bay and volcanoes. Visitors enjoy the historical monuments and the nostalgic swings, though ongoing renovations may temporarily impact amenities.

"The central square of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is a symbol of the city. Many significant historical sites are located here: a monument to the city's founders, the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, erected in honor of the 300th anniversary of Orthodoxy in Kamchatka; a stele commemorating the "City of Military Glory" in accordance with a 2011 decree of the President of the Russian Federation; Nikolskaya Sopka, also visible from the central square; a beautiful embankment with picturesque views of the bay, mountains, and volcano; and one of the best places for a stroll in the city. The square has swings and benches, a very unique place to sit, relax, and swing a little, reminiscing about childhood."

"A wonderful city, even if not so technologically advanced. Kind in its own way, positive in its own way, you can feel the hospitality. Mishennaya Sopka is beautiful, especially when the weather is cloudless.
By the way, the city itself is very clean and pleasant. I recommend setting aside at least a day to walk around it (tourists will spend a day buying the necessary supplies and accessories anyway, so you can definitely wander around for a day.
Khalaktyrsky beach, bays (Avachinskaya, Russkaya, etc.) - all these routes start from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky."

Maxim Chepusenko

"Пожалуй, одно из первых мест по необходимости к посещению в городе. Визитная карточка Петропавловска, его повседневной и исторической стороны жизни. Отличное место для прогулок, особенно в хорошую погоду. Очень популярно среди местных, как место проведения свободного времени, так и досуга во время выходных и праздничных дней. Прекрасный вид на бухту и потрясающие закаты."
