What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Vulkanarium is a beautifully crafted museum dedicated to volcanism, praised for its interactive exhibits and bilingual displays. While some find it a bit small and expensive, the informative content and hands-on opportunities make it a worthwhile visit, especially for those interested in geology. The guided tours are generally good, though English options require advance booking.
"Kind of small museum, beautiful and made with love and dedication. Very expensive for the information at disposal (800rub) but it is one of the few museums with English texts available and an audio guide.
The guide is a little bit young and not very experienced. Sometimes he looses his line or seems to be unsure with his own explanations, as well as with questions a little bit more precise of the visitors.
Touching the pieces, microscopes to use, a couple of interactive installations.
It could be a good option before or after visiting volcanoes along Kamchatka."
