Reviews Summary
Visitors are drawn to the Samara Choral Synagogue's impressive architecture and significant history, recognizing it as a valuable cultural heritage site. However, many express sadness over its current state of disrepair and the slow pace of restoration, hoping for its full revival.
"Nice synagogue, a shame that nobody wants to restore. There is money to build new buildings because there is no money to restore old buildings? They would do good for the Jewish community."

"Total distroy"
Andrey Sidorov
"The Samara Synagogue is, according to some sources, the largest in Europe and was built back in 1908. The architect is Zelman Kleinerman.
But its history is sad. After the revolution, the building was transferred to a cultural center, then a bakery was located there.
Now the building is in a deplorable state. For a long time, it was waiting for reconstruction, which started in August 2018 and according to plans should be completed by 2020. How it will be - time will tell."
