"Best of the best"

konstantin kagankevich

"A beautiful church from the late 12th century. A wonderful example of the Smolensk school of architects of the pre-Mongol period. The overall architecture corresponds to a four-pillar, cross-domed, single-domed ancient Russian temple. The temple itself is made of plinth. Fortunately, only about 5% of the frescoes remain. Above the choir, a whole portal with original paintings has been preserved. I really love taking excursions to this church."

Goidin Mikhail

"On Christmas Eve, I was very impressed by both the temple itself, built in the 12th century, and the wonderful place, which offers an amazing view of the Smolensk Dnieper region."
