What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise Suzdal for its authentic, well-preserved historical atmosphere and its abundance of beautiful churches and monasteries. The Trading Rows are highlighted as a central, picturesque spot for shopping and dining. While many find it a peaceful escape, some note that it can feel very quiet, especially outside peak tourist seasons.
"Torgovyye Ryady or Trading Arcade is a place for business activities in the center of Suzdal city.
The building itself is an ancient building with large pillars and extends from the left end of the building to the right end and gives the impression like a building in Greece.
In this place there are various businesses, starting from the far right side through the side door is a restaurant and in front of it there is a souvenir shop, next to it there is a shop selling souvenirs and typical Russian food and then there are offices and other shops.
But please do not forget to buy a drink from a small stall in front of this building, an old woman waiting for you to buy drinks from her.
In my opinion, this is the center of the crowd or a kind of town square Suzdal. If at night this building turns on the lights then from the front it looks beautiful and majestic.
If you visit the city of Suzdal, make sure you also stop by this place besides seeing the church and other old buildings."
