The "Undine" was created on the initiative of the owners of the "Grand Palace" hotel located on the city embankment - to attract attention to the place. And this idea was a success - the beautiful beauty has become one of the most famous attractions of the city and the embankment. Of course, we would like it to be treated more carefully and protected from vandalism by those who believe in all sorts of nonsense about bringing good luck, money and who knows what else that can be obtained by rubbing the mermaid's chest until it shines."
