"Nice and quiet place, but the books themself are old and damaged. Library isn't very big and the corridors are not wide at all. It has a free Wi-Fi and very soft armchairs."

"A very nice and quiet place with free wi-fi. There's a department specialising in foreign language literature on the corner of Grecheskaya street and Turgenevsky pereulok in Chaikovsky's House."

"First, a few words about the event that attracted many city residents, namely lovers and connoisseurs of photography. So, yesterday the exhibition of city photo artists "The City Lives" opened... the exhibition was located in one of the halls of the Chekhov Library. I can't say that the opening went unnoticed... the head of the city Administration Andrei Lisitsky was present at the opening... a little about the exposition... about the photographs displayed at the exhibition... the variety is simply pleasing... I won't say amazing, but it is definitely pleasing... everyone has their own vision, their own style... I will not name the photographers who provided their works now.. if you are interested, find a time and visit the exhibition.. And now, a few words about the library itself... one of the oldest libraries in the south of Russia... spacious and comfortable halls... a wide selection of literature, the ability to organize and hold various events attract many city residents to the library. A modern, well-functioning, popular library with its own "spirit", charm and rich and interesting history... The Chekhov Library. A.P. Chekhov! Library with a capital letter!"
