Reviews Summary
Tuim Sinkhole offers a visually striking, deep blue sinkhole, a man-made marvel that impresses with its scale. However, visitors often express disappointment with the implemented entrance fee, cash-only policy, and limited on-site amenities, feeling it has transitioned from a natural wonder to a commercialized attraction.

"Absolutely not worth a visit. The road to the site isn't the best (not the worst, of course, but in my opinion, if there's a fee to visit a site, there should be infrastructure). They've essentially fenced in this natural phenomenon and are collecting taxes. Everything inside is an extra charge. They only accept cash, and dogs are not allowed (supposedly to keep things clean), but they don't clean the grounds. It's unclear why they charge money.
We couldn't resist and decided to see how much of the grounds are fenced in. Actually, not all of them. You can walk around them if you want. But we were amazed by the diligence with which they prevent any attempts to enter this highly secure site. 😅 There are tons of signs warning of fines and directions to the cash register, the bottom of the fence is welded shut with extra bars in places where local kids might crawl, and even barbed wire around trees that aren't supposed to be part of the site... Details in the photo. Bottom line: if you have cash, don't mind wasting your time and money, and don't have a dog with you, then it's still not worth it 😅"

"Previously, you could freely come, look, walk around... But now someone bought the land and made the entrance 200 rubles, regardless of the time of year. We were there in January. In January, Karl!!! What kind of money should you take from people in the off-season? The place is interesting for its history and just to look into the hole in the rock... and in the summer, jumpers live here))
Now I will never go here again. Because they ask for money for the entrance.
I was here twice - for free and for a fee. I will definitely not go for a fee again. But to each his own, as they say)"
