"A statue in front of the house where this famous actor was born in Vladivostok. Yul is wearing a costume from his famous film "The King and I". There is a plaque on the left of the house too, don't miss it. No entry into house which is privately owned."

"The future Hollywood star, winner of the Oscar, was born on July 11, 1920 in the Brinner family, who played a large role in the history of Vladivostok. In honor of his grandfather, Julius Ivanovich Brinner, who was a major fish and gold miner, he was named Julius. After the establishment of Soviet power in Primorye in 1922, the family emigrated to Harbin, then to Paris, and later to the United States.
