What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Plage de la Saline's stunning natural beauty, vibrant lagoon perfect for snorkeling with abundant marine life, and breathtaking sunsets. The uncommercialized, serene atmosphere is a major draw, offering a peaceful escape. However, some note the lack of amenities like sunbeds and places to eat or drink directly on the beach.
"Stunning beach with superb easy snorkeling. Saw octopus, turtle and plenty of reef fish. Much better at high tide. (Beat any shore snorkeling in Mauritius). It's a little chilly in August, thermal rash vest helps.
It's all kept nice and simple as mostly private houses backed onto the beach so it's free of big hotels and restaurants. Get the odd person walking down to sell ice cream or drinks. Lots of access points so never feels too busy."
