"This is a must visit! We visited while on an excursion and loved it so much we went back two days later. The volcano is incredibly cool to see, guides were informative on the history & how the volcano works. The mud bath is so soft and our skin still feels great. A couple vendors outside too. Without a tour there it was quiet and peaceful, absolutely a great time!!"

"Such a unique and unforgettable stop! I didn’t do the official tour, but I was still able to walk through the volcanic area, stop at the interpretation center, waterfall along the way. Being that close to the hot, bubbling springs was surreal; and yes, the scent of sulfur fills the air and adds to the whole atmosphere.
But the absolute highlight for me was bathing in the mineral-rich hot springs. I covered myself in the sulfur mud and soaked in the naturally heated pools, which sit at around 100°F. It was heavenly!!!My skin felt unbelievably soft and refreshed afterward. Days later, my skin was still sooo smooth. Like a natural spa treatment straight from the Earth.
It was so good, I ended up coming back for a second visit. There are also souvenirs available at the entrance if you want a little keepsake. Truly a must-do experience if you’re visiting the island!"

"Guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! When we got to the baths and mud, it was a little overwhelming with the number of people, but we still didn’t have to wait at all. You don’t actually get into a mud bath. You get into the sulfur baths, then right when you get out of the water, you can spread the mud all over yourself. It takes about 10 minutes for it to dry completely. Then they have black mud that you can decorate with or you can leave a tip with one of their artists for them to create a design on you. I was really uncomfortable with someone I don’t know touching me like that, so he offered to just give me black splatters by flicking the mud on, which I thought was very considerate and still allowed me to be a part of the fun! After you take your pictures, you can get back into the hot Springs and rinse off the mud. Our skin was soooooo soft after!! we really had a great time here"
