Reviews Summary

Villa Beach is a beloved local spot offering warm, swimmable waters and beautiful views of Young Island. While parking is a significant challenge and beach size varies with the tide, the friendly atmosphere and local vendors add to its charm. Visitors appreciate the safety and the authentic Caribbean experience.

"This is a small local beach that also serves as the beachfront for many of the hotels. There are limited parking spots. It is more suitable for swimming and not snorkeling. You can see Young Island from here."

"Beautiful view of Young Island and the water was so nice and warm here! Locals selling fruits and coconuts on the beach and families and couples enjoyed their day. Wish I could have stayed to watch the sunset but vans stop running after a certain time so it would have been better with a private taxi or guide but overall very much enjoyed my time"

Candice Dunne

"Spent Christmas Day 2024 at this beach and had a nice enough day. Compared to other Caribbean beaches it is not the best but it’s certainly not bad.

The water taxi from the cruise port to this beach was $15pp and they simply ask what time you want picking up and come to collect you. When you get to the beach there is the option to hop on another water taxi over to a little tropical island for $5pp but we didn’t bother as we were told you have to lay on the sand.
We then got in a taxi at the little jetty and the guy charged us $10pp to take us to the beach (it’s a little walk if not but some is uphill and then back down). The $10pp got us a sunbed each and he took us back to the jetty when we were ready to return. We had to pass through a hotel to get to the beach and was charged $2pp to enter. We also got WiFi from the hotel.
There is a guy selling drinks on the beach for cheap enough too.

What we did notice is that a wallet was found on the sunbeds here and the locals were very careful to call over the tourism police to file a report about it… turned out it was one of the sun bed vendors wallets but still, makes you feel safe!"
