"Impressive and easy to access giant clams, and you're also likely to see turtles if you head south from the sanctuary. The clams are easy to find, they're marked by a Samoan flag, with a dozen huge giant clams surrounded by smaller and more colourful clams. Entry is 20 tala, and a further 20 tala for a guide. The changing room and toilet facilities are pretty rough. There is a bit of a current so best enter the water south of the main ramp, look out for turtles, then visit the clams, and have a refreshing dip in the freshwater pool by the main steps on your way out."

"WST20 per person so if you have a car probably cheaper than a resort tour.
Not sunscreen to be worn so bring a rash shirt so you don't burn.
They had a flag set up so you knew where to go to see the giant clams. The area was roped and you saw lots of smaller clams that were very colorful and the large ones were impressive.
We saw a large turtle and swam with that for ages.
A little rock pools is there by the shore and its a lovely area. Its worth a visit."
