Visitors consistently praise Al Rahma Mosque for its breathtaking "floating" appearance over the Red Sea and its serene atmosphere, especially during sunset. The unique architecture and peaceful ambiance make it a highly recommended spiritual and visual experience in Jeddah. However, some reviews mention the need for better maintenance of facilities like restrooms and a desire for nearby establishments to be more mindful during prayer times.
"Visiting Al Rahmah mosque was the most precious part of our recent trip. While living in saudia 18 years ago it was our go to spot on Fridays with family. I was glad to see that even after so long masjid still looks the same. Its very well kept. Same interior and overall structure. Google was showing us $54 ticket to enjoy a sunset tour at masjid, thank God we didnt buy ticket online as entering masjid was absolutely free, we were able to offer maghrib prayer there. Loved the newly developed hotels and other entertainment around the masjid but it was sad to see them not turning off their music during azaan."

"I can’t comment the interior of this mosque because I was wearing shorts and thus could not be admitted. But speaking about the exterior, the mosque looks really nice. It’s uniqueness lies in its location being built right on the water. The mosque itself from outside needs some renovation works because you can see plaster coming off.The toilets were in terrible condition. There is a crazy smell of the water and the toilet at the entrance to the mosque."

"Nicely built this mosque over Arabian sea. You can enjoy beautiful sunset from here. Loved this place."
