What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the spectacular, almost heavenly views from Schesaplana, calling the hike a worthy gift. However, the steep and loose terrain, coupled with potential snow hazards even in late June, means this challenging trek is strictly for experienced hikers with excellent fitness and sure footing. Safety is a major concern for many.
"Absolutely gorgeous hike from Lunersee lake , highly recommend if you are an experienced hiker! At the moment there is still lots of snow (end of June), and we unfortunately saw someone slip and fall down the snow onto rock near the top where it is steeper. They needed mountain rescue help, so be careful. Maybe one for August!"
