"An excellent museum. A must visit place in Belgrade. We saw and learned something new, something different, something beautiful. Excellently managed exhibition by the curator of the museum. The children were at the workshop. They are delighted. I would recommend everyone to visit this museum. This is not only a museum of African art, but partly also a museum of the history of Yugoslavia."

"Just the surroundings of the Museum of African Art, the wide space with modern park equipment made of noble materials as well as the fascinating colorful stone mosaic around the central building, introduce you perfectly to the permanent exhibition of functional or religious objects from the daily life of African peoples that, at the same time, exude minimalism and modernity according to the highest criteria of today's contemporary art! The display is suggestive, modern and informative. In addition to the permanent display, the Museum organizes numerous events throughout the year that are worth visiting!"

"A museum of a very different kind to those I visited until today already, but it was a really remarkable experience. Interesting and diverting exhibition and pieces from selected ethnics of the African continent, and also the concept behind it is unique and refreshing (no looted art as you can find in lots of other art/ethnographic museums, for example in my country's capital Berlin). Great place, definitely worth a visit when you're in the Serbian capital."
