It's appreciated as a component of a larger fortress visit, offering a relaxing atmosphere amidst historical remnants.

"A pleasant display of ancient artefacts in the centre of the Fortress of Nis. The fortress itself is now more like a park, and it’s possible to sit and relax amongst these huge stones.
The stones have been collected from around Nis and other nearby cities. They seem to be from Roman times.
I wouldn’t go a long way out of my way to see these, but they’re worth stopping by if you’re in the Fortress anyway."

Mike RC

"The collection was first exhibited in the fortress in 1887, near the Stambol and Belgrade Gates."

Pera Peric

"An open-air collection of ancient inscriptions and tombstones. Worth stopping and looking."
