Getting there is easy: from Artillery Bay, either take a ferry to the Northern Pier and then a 15-20-minute walk, passing the Heroes of Sevastopol monument on Cape Kordon along the way, or take a boat directly to the Mikhailovskaya Battery pier."

"An excellent museum, a must-see. The ferry goes directly to the fortress walls, and the price is a bargain: 22 rubles per person. Just be sure not to get confused; the ferry with cars goes to the right, while the ferry without cars goes to the fortress walls. It's best to check at the ticket office which one goes where. You cross the entire Sevastopol Bay, and the view of the bay entrance is stunning. The museum itself is very informative, with exhibits from the time of the hussars and Catherine the Great to the Great Patriotic War. It's worth visiting with a guided tour inside the museum; they form groups every two hours at the entrance. The price is 300 rubles with a guided tour; free admission is cheaper. I can't say the exact price, as I haven't asked. Overall, I highly recommend a visit; it's all there."

The main part of the exhibition is dedicated to the Crimean War. Without exaggeration, we can say that this is the richest collection in the world on this topic. The exhibition halls are arranged in a clear thematic and chronological order. Thus, visitors involuntarily travel through time, starting from the founding of the city and ending with the victory in the Great Patriotic War."
