"Absolutely mind-blowing beach. One of my favourites in La Digue. Not very easy to reach, be prepared to sweat a lot. Bring water and put your shoes on. You can bike to Grande Anse, then you will take the trail to Petite Anse (10/15 minutes in the jungle) and then it’s another 15/20 minutes to reach Anse Cocos. It’s worth it. There’s also a bar that serves fresh fruit, grilled fish, coconuts. I’d recommend to leave the beach around 16.30/17 so you still have enough light on the way back."

"It takes a bit to get here (bike ride to Grand Anse , hike past Petite Anse, then about another 20 minute hike). It's deserted as hell. There is a pretty strong rip, so if you're not a strong swimmer stay out of the water until you go past the rocks to the natural wading pool."
