"Waves can get a bit rough in the rising tides. The waters are great though. Clarity is limited and unfortunately the coastal regions are devoid of marine life. Make sure you stick to the northern parts of the beach as the southern regions are occupied by the locals who many shopkeepers in the region say are "less than savoury" characters who prey on the tourists with spiked free drinks. The island makes a fantastic photo background though. The local restaurant makes a decent octopus curry."
