What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Golden Mile Tower is celebrated for its nostalgic, retro charm and its role as a gateway to Malaysia. Visitors appreciate the unique independent shops and the affordable, authentic food options, particularly Thai cuisine. However, some find the mall's aging infrastructure and lack of modern amenities a drawback.
"Every good. Not so good sound effects. Compare to golden village is better than that"

"A place that provides a glimpse to older times. This mall is mostly patronized by people taking bus to Malaysia. You can't find popular merchants like other malls in Singapore, but unique shops like stamp shop, miniature, specialized cinema and karaoke and a few popular eateries like chicken rice and steamboat, mostly caters for people eating in groups (but no problem for singles or small groups).
The place itself looked old, with old mall smell (not sure how to explain), there is a decent parking area albeit old looking as well, and now it's walkable from Nicoll Highway MRT which is much more convenient than back then.
If you are looking for the special freshly-cut Thai mango (pretty good especially the one with wet chili) or delicious chicken rice, this is the place."

"Very retro, legacy shopping mall located in kampong glam along beach road. Interior is classic and is truly an old mall that has been left almost untouched from the 80s. Cheap, small business are located here. Visit while it's still here!"
