"We arrived at 1am and waited about 20 minutes because there were issues with the system. The staff was non-communicative about what the issue was. The feeling from the staff was frustration and not very friendly. We didn’t feel a very warm welcome. Upon entering the room, we tried to adjust the AC to cool down as it was very humid - only to find that it is controlled by front desk only. We did not have tea or coffee in the room and only had one shower towel to share between 2 people. The stand the bottles for shampoo and body wash were kept in was loose and had to be supported when the bottle was used with a fear it would fall out the wall. The USB charging ports were a mixed bag too. The one port did not work and the other emitted a high pitch sound when plugged in. Lastly, the room itself was quite worn. Our room was a premium queen, but it rather felt like we were staying in the cheapest hotel.

On the more positive side, the location is very good. Quite a walk late at night, but of course in the airport and convenient. The bed was very comfortable."

"Perfect location within the Jewel, easy to access, and easily to follow instructions (Lobby H). The rooms themselves are small, but have everything you require. Shower is a really good size. The mood lighting is particularly nice.

I appreciated the plentiful cold water dispensers available everywhere.

Real surprise was how comfortable the bed was. The electric incline was really good, and the pillows and mattress were super comfortable. I had a significantly better sleep than expected!

The rooms was also well sound proofed, which contributed to a great sleep.

For the price, you could get better hotels further within the city, but you really are paying for the convenience of staying so close to Changi. Would definitely stay here again."

"Conveniently located at Terminal 1, Level 4 at the far end of the Jewel Changi, the décor is inspired by a space shuttle theme, complete with quirky signage and lighting.

Although the room is tiny (think Hong Kong or Tokyo hotel tiny), it is spotless, clean and comfortable, with everything you need. There is a hot and cold water drink dispenser just outside the room, plus a cosy nook around the corner from reception stocked with coffee and tea machines. This nook area also offers a lovely view of the iconic Jewel waterfall and garden, along with a well lit upstairs space.

Customer service varies depending on who is at the desk. The staff member who checked us in was not particularly friendly, while the lady who checked us out was warm, smiling and lovely. A quick drop box for express checkout is also available.

Check in and checkout are fast and efficient, but note that there is an additional surcharge of around 20% on top of the Booking.com rate, which we were not aware of at the time of booking."
