What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors find the Lower Gate Košice Underground an interesting historical site with engaging animations and an interactive 3D map. While some feel the 4 euro price is a bit high for the short visit duration, others consider it worthwhile for the unique underground experience and multilingual information. The rapid pace of the informational projections is a recurring point of feedback.
"Went here while in Košice, visiting from New Zealand.
The lady at the counter was pretty friendly.
Went we went inside the museum, there were projections on the wall which was the information about the place. My problem was that I didn’t know how long it would be there, so I either would read too slowly to try remember everything and the slide would skipped before I finished, or I would read too fast and finish but I wouldn’t actually retain the information. This could easily be solved with a loading bar on the projection that shows you how much time has passed until the next one. There’s quite a lot of options so if you’re the manager of the museum and you’re reading this, please do something about it.
But the museum overall was fun and I liked going through the tunnels. And the interactive light up 3D map of Košice was also cool."

"Tells you the history of Kosice easiest way possible. 4€ entrance was a bit too much since you will spend 10-20 minutes inside."

Navigating the Projections and Information Flow
Travelers have noted that the information slides change quickly, making it difficult to read and retain everything. The suggestion for a loading bar on the projections has been made to help visitors pace themselves and ensure they don't miss crucial details. This feedback highlights a desire for a more user-controlled information flow within the exhibition.
While the technology is advanced, the user experience with the projections could be optimized. Visitors who enjoy quick-paced learning might find it engaging, but those who prefer to delve deeper into historical details might find it slightly frustrating. Nevertheless, the projections are a central part of the museum's modern approach to historical storytelling.
