Already been to Ljubljana, Maribor, and Ptuj...so now I'm branching out to the rest of Slovenia. I'd appreciate if the town itself had enough to see and do for a full day...I'm not expecting any of these to be big enough for 2 full days (Ptuj just about filled up 1 day with…

"Quiet and nice spot to enjoy nature and site seeing :)"

Kmetic Darko

"Wild Loka Castle was most likely named after its solitary position in the heart of the forest beneath Lubnik. It was built in the early 12th century and is the oldest castle in the Škofja Loka area. The castle, surrounded by walls, was used by its landowners until it was demolished by the great earthquake in 1511.

A short walk through the forest leads to the remains of the once-mighty castle."
