Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the Jamnik Church for its breathtakingly beautiful location and iconic scenery, often describing it as a 'gem' and 'mesmerizing'. The panoramic mountain views and the tranquil setting are major highlights. However, many note the significant challenge of limited parking and the narrow access roads, requiring careful driving and a short walk.

"Some time ago I found a photo on google. A random photo! But it stuck with me, I downloaded and kept it in my phone. And recently I discovered that it was a real place and I planned a whole trip just to get to Slovenia!🫠

It's an amazing country, especially if you are an outdorsy type who loves mountains, forests and nice people! So I got to this church on my birthday!❤

I was lucky enough to see it on a sunny yet windy October afternoon; I even got to spend some time alone on the bench facing the mountains; very few people on that day, thank God!
It is a really good idea to live your car on the side of the street (there is a 2 places car park next to the sign which takes you on the trail to the church and two more options for 3 cars a bit higher or lower, so very limited options to park your car😔) and then follow the path that takes you to the church!

And then hope for good weather and no people!😊🙏"

"A gem of a place, not easy to get to but worth the effort. The best part was the scenery and surround by nature’s beauty and sound. Very isolated from the busy city noise and crowds."

Souriya Bobby Vongchanh

"Mesmerizing location! Tricky to find parking, I would suggest park at the turning where you will find some gravel, near a sign post. From there it's 5 min walk. Absolutely no one was there when we went. Sunrise or sunset time is best! Also the town of Kropa that come on the way is absolutely beautiful. Do spend some time there too!"
