What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the unique landscape and the opportunity to learn about traditional salt harvesting at the Lera Salt Pans. The visitor center shop is a highlight for those seeking local products. However, some are disappointed by the policy requiring an entrance fee for access to amenities like the cafe and restrooms, even for a brief visit.
"I am very disappointed that the shop can only be visited if you pay the entrance fee. Two people should pay €15 to be allowed in? Due to the bad weather conditions, it would not have been possible to view the saltworks in peace. In the online shop, shipping to Austria is only €10, which makes it easier and cheaper to order. It's a shame because I actually like to support local businesses. This one doesn't seem to need it.
Thank you very much for the answer and information. It would have been very helpful to receive this information on site from the lady at the entrance."

"An interesting park with salt lakes, but we were disappointed that they wouldn't let us into the cafe without a ticket, or the toilet, or just to take a look, or just a short walk, everything is only in the area and requires a ticket..."
