"An artificial lake that was created by damming the Drava River due to the accumulation for the Mariborski Otok hydroelectric power plant. The expanded part of the Drava River provides opportunities for numerous recreational and sports activities. The latter are used to advantage by rowers from the Bresternica club. There is also no shortage of fishermen here. Last but not least, all of us who love the Drava River are happy to find a free moment to visit this largest river (and lake) in the near and far vicinity.... Beautiful in every season."
