What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the absolutely stunning panoramic views of Lake Bohinj and the Julian Alps, accessible via a scenic cable car ride. The pet-friendly nature and opportunities for hiking and interacting with farm animals are also highly praised. However, some find the cable car ticket price to be quite steep for a visit focused solely on the views.
"Fantastic place! The gondola takes you all the way to the top where you get the best views. Cute farm animals you can feed, so many hiking options, extremely fun ski lift that takes you further up and even more gondola rides. It really is an amazing place, not crowded at all, pet friendly, and restaurants are available as well. You can easily spend a few hours up there. So much fresh air and challenging hills. Would definitely go back!"

"Visiting the Vogel ski center is an absolute must when traveling through Slovenia. The views you'll see on the cable car ride up are simply indescribable, with incredible panoramas of Lake Bohinj and the surrounding mountains. The mountain scenery is truly breathtaking and you could spend hours just admiring it. I would confidently recommend this place."

"In the heart of Triglav national parks, Vogel is a place you should not miss in Slovenia. At any time of year it offers breathtaking views to the Bohinj lake and surrounding mountains (Komna, the Triglav Mountains and all the way to the Kamnik-Savinja Alps)
You can do a short (or long) hikes. Just make sure the weather is sunny. 🌞
The advantage here is, that a cable car (check the timetable at vogel.si) brings you up to 1.535m. With the chair lifts you can continue all the way to 1.800m.
Of course in the winter this is one of the nicest ski-resorts in Slovenia - because of the amazing panoramic views and all natural snow."
