Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise Vinag Wine Cellars for its fascinating historical tours and excellent wine tastings. The knowledgeable and friendly guides, along with the unique underground cellar experience, are frequently highlighted as major draws. While the core experience is highly rated, some may find the tasting portions could be more extensive for the price.

"What a wonderful place with wonderful employees. We spent last night here and Manja was a complete delight. She was very helpful and informative which made our experience there that much better. The wine cellar is definitely something you need to check out. We have seen many, but nothing like this. I went down to the underground tunnels alone with an audio guide and it was super. If you live taking pictures you definitely have to put this on your list of must sees while in Maribor. Highly recommend 👍"

Lyn S

"We had a very enjoyable and fun time here during the cellar tour and tasting, we only had a classic tasting but it was more than enough to taste and get an insight into Vinag wines. The young man who guided us was very funny and talented. It was definitely worth the money."

Denisa Matoušková

"A very enjoyable and informative tour in the winery tunnel’s underground. It costs €20 per person including free wine sampling.

You will learn about the history of making one of the Balkans best wines!

Highly recommend"
