The Ysterplaat AFB Museum is an incredible place to dive into South Africa’s rich past of military aviation. The volunteers are extremely knowledgeable and were involved in the air force related skirmishes written about on the walls of this nostalgic place. Forgotten heroes, human and mechanical, are remembered here from a bygone era where South Africa’s air force was a force to be reckoned with.
