Just a normal morning in Simon's Town. A troop of baboons came past the office this morning. Luckily thus troop isn't known to be hostile so they just calmly walked right past me not giving me a second look. #CapeTown #SimonsTown #Baboon #Wildlife

The town itself seems amszing too with plenty old buildings etc
Definitely recommend along with the naval museum and the Submarine museum.
Just a point to note they close early around 15h30.
Go and go now its was informative and worth it.
The simons town museum charge enrty is not alot i think it was like R30 bucks.
Naval museum is free but you can chuck some cash in the donations box.

"Really great museum for people interested in not just the Naval history but also the vital history of the wonderfully diverse communities that grew up in this area as a result of the evolution of this town from its early conception.
The museum also reflects the history of the forced relocation of this community under the Group Areas Act bringing the stark reality of apartheid and how it ripped people apart. The team are incredibly knowledgable and it was a real privilege to visit and learn so much. Thank you! A must see for anyone looking to learn about Simon’s Town and the communities that originated from here and who continue to contribute to the museum."
