What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors often praise Pearson Park for its beautiful natural scenery, indigenous trees, and peaceful atmosphere, making it a lovely spot for strolls and picnics. However, some reviews highlight concerns about the conservatory's upkeep, litter, and safety in certain areas, suggesting it could benefit from restoration and better maintenance.
"My favourite place in Port Elizabeth! I absolutely love this place and the scenery and the vibe and how pretty it is. Walking through the park is amazing and almost feels like another world in the middle of PE. The nature is beautiful and well looked after, as well as the conservatory. It's really beautiful inside. It has however become quite unsafe, and even going in groups deter visiting a little."
Shawn Marsh
"I used to love the Conservatory. We took our children there for a visit on Father's day. The Conservatory has a sparse amount of plants in it, the same plants that seem to grow better outside the "hot house" environment. We found old drug paraphernalia, piles of cigarette butts, rubbish and molten candles... And some Marijuana seedlings. This is a Gem of a tourist attraction just waiting to be restored to its former glory."

"Beautiful! Well kept. Nice quite strolls.. Guards constantly patrol the site. Had a bit of fun with by the swing😂"
